Economy Parking

Remote

Week-long trip and watching costs? Economy Parking is $8 a day.

This is Spokane International’s remote Economy Parking lot, set 0.3 miles from terminals A, B, and C. The headline: it’s the lowest on-airport daily rate at GEG, at $8.00 per 24 hours, and regulars use it to keep week-long parking bills under control compared with the Garage or Outside lots.

From the Economy lot, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the terminal doors if you’re moving at a decent pace with rolling luggage. If you’d rather ride, the airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes, with a posted shuttle time of around 15 minutes door to door. Figure that into your departure plan and add at least 20–30 minutes on top of your usual airport arrival time.

Economy Parking is classified as a remote lot, but it’s still on airport property and uses the same ticketing system as the closer options. You pay the flat $8.00 per day rate with no higher “additional 24-hour” upcharge, which is why budget-minded flyers use it for 5–10 day trips instead of the main Garage or Outside lot. If you’re leaving the car for a full week, the math adds up fast here.

One standout feature: complimentary Level 2 ChargePoint EV stations sit directly in the Economy Lot, and you only pay the $8.00 daily parking fee while the car charges. That’s unusual for the lowest-price lot at any airport, and it makes this the smart pick if you’re flying out of Spokane with an EV and want to return to a full battery.

Practical tip: Park closer to the shuttle stops if you have heavy bags; if you’re light on luggage and the weather is OK, skip the wait and just walk the 0.3 miles to terminals A, B, and C.
