Northern Quest Crosswinds Lounge

A

Gate A-side bar run by a casino, not a lounge

Northern Quest Crosswinds Lounge sits in Concourse A/B at Spokane (GEG) and runs more like a small public bar than a closed-door club. It’s operated by Northern Quest Resort & Casino, and anyone passing through the A/B concourse can walk up, grab a seat, and pay as you go. No airline status, no Priority Pass, no memberships in play here.

Concourse A/B at GEG usually handles Alaska and Delta flights, so this spot mainly serves those gates plus a few regional operations. Hours track with the flight bank, generally opening in the morning before the first departures from A and staying open into the evening push; if you have a 5:30 a.m. departure, don’t count on a full bar at that hour. It’s all post-security, so you’ll clear TSA first, then walk toward the A/B split to find it.

Menu details at Crosswinds don’t show up clearly online, but think standard airport bar play: beers by the bottle or draft, simple mixed drinks, and basic hot food in the $10–$20 range. Since this is casino-branded, expect regional beers and some stronger cocktails rather than latte art and quinoa bowls. There’s no sign of a self-serve buffet, espresso bar, or pour-over coffee setup here.

Space is limited, and it functions as seating for Concourse A/B more than a quiet office. You’re looking at bar stools and a handful of tables, with noise from nearby gates and boarding calls for specific flights like Alaska 6xx or Delta 2xxx bleeding in. Power outlets can be hit or miss along the concourse, so charge up at your gate if you see an open plug.

This is not a “full-service” lounge: no showers, no nap rooms, no dedicated business center, and no guaranteed day-pass-style access rules. If you need a long work session with stable Wi‑Fi and many outlets, the main terminal pre-security has larger seating zones, and some travelers just camp there after clearing security from the parking garage across Airport Drive.

Practical tip: if your flight goes from Concourse C, factor in the 5–10 minute walk back across the terminal and stay close to the time printed on your boarding pass; Crosswinds makes more sense for A/B departures where you can see your gate from your barstool.
