Grab and Go Market

Main ★ 4.2

Marketplace coolers cover the “Grab and Go Market” function

In FWA’s Main terminal, anything labeled “Grab and Go Market” is essentially the coolers and shelves inside the Tailwind-run Marketplace setup, not a separate storefront with its own sign. Rating sites still list it as a 4.2, but on the ground you’re just walking up to refrigerators and racks near the central post-security area and paying at the same counter as other Marketplace items.

Hours generally track with the main flight banks, opening before the first departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. and running into the evening push, but this isn’t a 24/7 operation. Prices line up with small-airport norms: expect around $3–4 for bottled drinks, $4–7 for packaged sandwiches or wraps, and $2–4 for snacks like chips, nuts, and candy. You pay at the Tailwind register in the same Main terminal concourse that serves all FWA gates.

Food is standard pre-packed fare: cold sandwiches, salads, yogurt cups, hard-boiled eggs, and snack packs, all in the shared Marketplace coolers by the Main terminal gates. Hot items, when available, come from the Tailwind grill rather than a distinct “Grab and Go” counter, so if you want something like a breakfast sandwich or burger you’re ordering from the same menu as sit-down customers and then taking it to go. Coffee and bottled cold brew sit near the soft drinks and juices.

With no separate brand identity, you won’t find a unique menu board or specialty item tagged specifically as “Grab and Go Market” at Fort Wayne International; it’s simply the quick self-serve section attached to Tailwind’s Marketplace in the Main terminal. Treat it like a speed play: grab a sandwich, drink, and snack in under five minutes, then head straight to security or your gate. Tip: if you have under 10 minutes before boarding, skip hot made-to-order food and stick to the refrigerated cases so you don’t cut it close at FWA’s single concourse.
