200-yen onigiri and snacks when you don’t want another food court meal

FamilyMart at Fukuoka Airport sits landside in the terminal complex, so you can hit it before heading through security for Domestic or International flights. It runs typical konbini pricing, with onigiri, sandwiches, instant noodles, drinks, and sweets that usually come in under 500 yen per item. If you just need bottled tea and a quick rice ball instead of a sit-down meal, this is the spot.

This is a standard FamilyMart, not an airport-only concept, so expect the usual shelves of snacks, cup ramen, and bento plus a refrigerated case with drinks and desserts. Compared to many airport cafés selling 600–800 yen coffees, canned and bottled options here are closer to normal city prices. You can also grab basics like gum, mints, and small toiletries in the same run.

Hours are posted at the shop, but FamilyMart in major Japanese airports typically opens early in the morning and trades into late evening to match first and last flight banks. That means it often works for both 7:00 departures and post-20:00 arrivals, when some restaurants already shut. Still, don’t assume 24 hours; check the signboard if you land on the last flight.

Tip: stop here before security for cheaper drinks and snacks, since options airside in both Domestic and International areas skew pricier and have fewer under-300-yen items.
