It runs roughly standard terminal retail hours, typically from early morning through evening in sync with the first and last domestic flights. Think quick pass-through shop: pick up boxed sweets, drinks, and a few hot snacks, then head straight to security upstairs.
You’ll see all the usual Kyushu souvenirs here: packaged mentaiko, Hakata torimon sweets, and regional cookies priced mostly in the ¥800–¥1,600 range per box. Refrigerated items like fresh mentaiko or cakes usually sit in cases near the back; factor in how many hours until you reach your final stop before grabbing the chilled stuff.
For immediate hunger, Blue Sky typically stocks onigiri, sandwiches, and bento in the ¥400–¥900 range along with bottled teas and soft drinks around ¥150–¥250. It’s more “grab something and go back to your seat” than a place to linger. If you have under 15 minutes before security, this is still realistic for a quick food run.
Expect standard airport pricing, maybe 10–20% over what you’d pay in town, but still fine if you just want one or two boxes of omiyage instead of hunting outside the airport.
