Mosch Mosch

Terminal 2 ramen chain Mosch Mosch is standard FRA fare

In Frankfurt Terminal 2, Mosch Mosch fills the “familiar chain” slot: Japanese-style noodles, rice bowls, and small plates at airport prices. You’ll find it airside in T2, so you’re fine once you’ve cleared security and passport control. Expect ramen, udon, gyoza, and curry dishes built for quick service rather than deep food memories.

Most mains land in the €12–€18 range, with soft drinks around €3–€4 and beer usually a couple euros more. Portions run medium, not huge, so a ramen plus one side like gyoza or edamame is a realistic plan if you’re hungry and have more than 45 minutes before boarding. Service speed swings a bit depending on the bank of departures out of Terminal 2, but budget at least 30 minutes sit-down time.

The menu leans noodle-heavy: shoyu or miso-style ramen, fried noodles, and a few donburi-style rice bowls, plus vegetarian options clearly marked. Broths tend to be mild, so if you want more kick, ask for extra chili oil or spice when you order. If you’re about to get airline noodles in economy on a long-haul, maybe skip the plain ramen here and go for something different, like a katsu curry or a stir-fried noodle dish.

Seating is standard terminal café style, with tables packed fairly close together near other T2 concessions. It’s fine for solo travelers with a rollaboard, but stroller plus multiple bags will feel tight at peak departure waves, especially around the early afternoon bank between roughly 12:00 and 15:00. Power outlets are hit-or-miss, so don’t bank on charging a laptop at the table.

Practical tip: check your gate in Terminal 2 before you sit; some remote bus gates in T2 can take 10–15 minutes from the restaurant once you factor in walking and the line that forms at the boarding stairwell.
