The lounge sits in Terminal 1, Concourse B, airside, serving Star Alliance departures from the non-Schengen side of FRA. If you’re on Air Canada, United, or another Star Alliance carrier leaving from T1B, you’re in the right zone; if your flight goes from A or Z, factor in the 10–20 minute walk back to your gate. Access follows standard Star Alliance rules: business class on a Star Alliance carrier or Star Alliance Gold on the same-day flight.

Doors usually open several hours before the first Air Canada departure out of Frankfurt Terminal 1, then stay open until the last evening departure pushes back. This is not a 24/7 spot, and it tracks the long-haul bank rather than early-morning European shuttles. Seating is a mix of armchairs and small tables, with most power outlets concentrated near walls and window-side seats. Wi‑Fi is free and uses the same airport-wide network you see in the rest of Terminal 1, so your device should reconnect instantly once you’ve logged in at the gate area. Compared with the nearby Lufthansa lounges in B, regulars report noticeably fewer people pacing for seats in the 09:00–12:00 push.

One practical tip: if your Star Alliance flight leaves from a Z gate in Terminal 1, set a timer to leave the lounge 20 minutes before boarding, then follow B-to-Z signage and allow for the extra passport control step on the way.
