Gate-side at T1, Relay is the quick grab-and-go stop
Right inside Terminal T1 at Pinto Martins (FOR), Relay covers the basics: drinks, packaged snacks, a few candy brands you recognize, and the usual mix of local and international magazines. It sits airside after security, so you can walk over once you clear the checkpoint instead of backtracking to the landside shops.
Expect airport pricing: bottled water and soft drinks usually run higher than city supermarkets, and simple snacks like chips or chocolate bars sit in the mid-range for Brazilian airports. Payment is standard for FOR: cards widely accepted, including international credit cards, plus contactless where the terminal cooperates.
Relay works as a last-minute supply run before boarding in T1 if you forgot headphones, a charging cable, or a basic travel accessory. Stock rotates, but you’ll generally see phone cables, power banks, and small items like travel-sized toiletries on the racks closest to the counter.
Hours typically follow the main flight banks in T1, opening early for morning departures and staying open into the late evening while domestic and regional flights run. If you land on one of the final arrivals of the night, confirm it’s still open as you walk past your gate so you’re not counting on it for water and finding shutters down.
Tip: buy water and any snacks you want for the flight at Relay right after security in T1; prices don’t get better closer to the gate, and some smaller kiosks close between banks of departures.
