Gate-side grab-and-go in Terminal 3

Urban Market sits past security in Terminal 3 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL), set up mainly for quick snacks and drinks near the gates. Think pre-packaged sandwiches, chips, bottled drinks, and candy rather than a sit-down meal. Prices run airport-high: expect around $4 for bottled water, $7–$10 for a basic sandwich, and $3–$5 for snacks.

Hours typically track the Terminal 3 schedule, opening early for the first departures around 5:00–5:30 a.m. and staying open into the evening bank of flights. If you have an early Spirit or JetBlue departure out of T3, this is one of the first spots you’ll see open for coffee and a quick bite. Don’t count on late-night hours after the last flights, though.

Food is mostly cold-case items: premade turkey or ham sandwiches, salads in clamshell containers, yogurt cups, and pastries. Grab-and-go breakfast options sit in the $4–$8 range, with coffee usually in the $3–$5 bracket depending on size. It’s functional if you just need something in five minutes and don’t want to leave your gate area in Terminal 3.

Drinks cover the basics: bottled water, sodas, energy drinks, and often a small cooler of beer or single-serve wine, each around $8–$14. If you want a proper bar or hot entree at FLL, you’ll need to walk to one of the larger full-service spots in Terminal 3 or even consider switching terminals during a long layover.

Practical tip: if you care about choice more than staying close to your gate, walk the full Terminal 3 concourse first; Urban Market works best as a last-stop backup when boarding starts in 10–15 minutes and you just need something in hand.
