Dunkin'

6 a.m. lines at this Terminal 2 Dunkin' move fast

On the airside in Terminal 2 at Fort Lauderdale (FLL), this Dunkin' sits in the main concourse serving the Delta and Air Canada crowd from early morning through evening. It’s the reliable caffeine stop when you’re staring down a 7:15 a.m. departure and don’t have time for a sit-down meal.

Coffee runs around $3–$6 depending on size and whether you go hot, iced, or latte. Expect the usual Dunkin' line spikes at about 6:00–8:30 a.m. and again around the 4:00–6:00 p.m. bank of departures. If your boarding pass shows a 30-minute boarding window, hit Dunkin' first, then walk to the gate; it’s close enough that you won’t stress about missing group calls.

Food is standard Dunkin' fare: egg and cheese sandwiches on bagels, English muffins, or croissants in the $4–$7 range, plus donuts and Munchkins by the half-dozen or dozen. If you need something that travels, grab a bagel with cream cheese or a couple of donuts and carry them to your seat at Gate D2 rather than juggling a hot sandwich on the jet bridge.

Mobile ordering through the Dunkin' app sometimes works here, sometimes not; plan on paying at the counter with a card or mobile wallet instead of counting on an advance order. Prices run a bit higher than a street Dunkin' on Sunrise Boulevard, but still on the low end compared with other FLL Terminal 2 options.

Practical tip: if you’re on a 6:30–7:00 a.m. flight out of Terminal 2, aim to clear security by 5:30 a.m., hit Dunkin' immediately after the checkpoint, and carry your order to the gate so you’re not stuck in line during final boarding calls.
