Garage parking

$20 per day gets you covered parking in Cypress Garage

Cypress Garage at FLL runs $2 per 20 minutes, capped at $20 per day on long-term levels 6–9, and sits inside the main terminal complex. It’s structured, covered parking, so your car stays out of the South Florida sun and rain while you walk to Terminals 1, 2, 3, or 4 via the connected walkways.

Long-term parking is signed for Levels 6–9, with the same rate as the other FLL garages: $2 per 20 minutes up to a $20 daily max. Shorter stays can sit on lower levels, but locals on FlyerTalk point out that FLL’s terminal parking “is horrible” when it gets busy, so don’t expect a calm loop through the ramps at peak times.

Payment is straightforward: Cypress participates in SunPass Plus, so if your transponder is enabled you can just drive out and have the fee hit your toll account. Otherwise, standard ticket-and-pay-at-exit works, but on heavy days those cashier and kiosk lines slow down as traffic backs up toward the exits.

Big holidays cause the real pain. Frequent flyers report that garages and long-term lots often hit full over major holiday weekends, with signs at Cypress sending late arrivals toward remote overflow. Some of that overflow is dirt fields, which stings if you drove in expecting paved, covered parking and paid-airport rates.

Regulars who fly from FLL a few times a month often skip Cypress and book off-airport lots like Park ‘N Fly or Park ‘N Go when they expect the garages to be slammed, trading the walk for predictable shuttles and loyalty points. If you stick with Cypress, arrive at least 30–45 minutes earlier than usual on busy days to hunt a spot on 6–9 and still make your flight.
