P5 sits in the economy zone closest to Terminal A
P5 is the main economy car park at Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport, set a short walk from Terminal A. It’s a surface lot with marked bays, so no height limits or tight ramps to worry about. Signage for “P5 Économique” appears as you follow the airport access road, and the entrance barrier is hard to miss once you’re near the terminal loop.
Rates in P5 fall in the airport’s economy band, making it the budget choice compared with the closer premium and short-stay areas near Terminal A. Pricing is calculated per 24-hour period, so it makes more sense for trips of several days than for quick drop-offs. You pay at machines by card or cash before exiting, then feed the validated ticket at the barrier to leave.
P5 operates 24/7 in line with flights at FDF, so late-night arrivals into Terminal A or early morning departures are covered. Lighting runs across the lot and links to the main pedestrian path that heads toward the terminal doors. If you land after midnight, you still walk from P5 straight to the public arrivals area without needing a shuttle.
The walk from P5 to the Terminal A check-in hall usually takes around 6–10 minutes at a normal pace. The route is flat and paved, so rolling suitcases or pushchairs handle it fine. If you’re juggling bulky luggage, build in a little extra time to cross the internal roads around the terminal drop-off zone.
One simple tip: snap a photo of your P5 row marker and entrance sign before you walk off toward Terminal A. After a week in the sun, lots in the economy zone start to look the same when you land back at FDF in the dark.
