10–15 minutes from Terminal A by shuttle, P3 is FDF’s remote lot
P3 sits off the main airport loop at Martinique Aimé Césaire International and runs as a remote car park feeding Terminal A. It usually prices below the closer lots, so it suits longer trips where daily rates add up. You park your own car, keep your keys, and then use the shuttle link back to the terminal.
The shuttle between P3 and Terminal A typically runs in the 10–15 minute range door to door, including loading time. Build in extra buffer if you’re on an early Air France departure or one of the afternoon tourist-bank flights. There’s no covered walkway, so in a heavy Martinique rain shower you’re outside between your car and the shuttle stop.
P3 operates in step with the airport schedule, aligning with the first departures out of Terminal A in the morning and late incoming flights at night. Still, treat late-night arrivals after 23:00 cautiously and check current shuttle times before committing. Lighting is basic but adequate, and the lot surface is standard open-air tarmac, not a multi‑storey structure.
Payment usually follows the main airport tariff structure: you pull a ticket at the barrier, then pay at an automated machine before heading back to your car. Keep some backup card or cash in case a particular machine is offline. P3’s pricing structure tends to favour stays of several days over very short drops of under 24 hours.
Practical tip: aim to reach P3 at least 1 hour 45 minutes before a regional departure from Terminal A, and 2 hours 15 minutes before long-haul, to cover parking, shuttle, and a potentially slow security queue.
