Parking Garage

Short stay

Covered parking steps from T at FAT

The Parking Garage at Fresno Yosemite (FAT) sits directly next to Terminal T, so you’re walking just a couple of minutes from car to check-in, all under cover. It’s the short-stay option in the airport system, and the only on-airport facility with clearly listed EV chargers across several levels.

Rates run $4 per hour with a flat $17 daily cap for the first 24 hours, and every extra day also rings in at $17. That makes the math simple for 1–4 day trips: you’ll hit the daily max quickly, then stop accruing hourly charges. For a 3-day weekend, plan on roughly $51 total if you leave the car and don’t move it.

EV drivers get charging stalls on Levels 1, 2, and 3 inside the garage, which is the only place FAT officially confirms on-site charging. If you’re flying out for several days and need the battery topped when you land, this is the least fussy option versus gambling on off-airport or hotel chargers.

Accessibility is centered on Level 1, where ADA spaces cluster closest to the terminal walkway. With a valid placard, the first 2 hours are free, then the same $4 hourly and $17 daily structure kicks in, identical to standard garage users. That keeps pricing predictable if you’re dropping someone with mobility needs and staying a bit.

All FAT lots, including the garage, have a 5‑minute grace period on both entry and exit. Miss a passenger at the curb? You can swing into the garage, loop around, and get back out inside five minutes without triggering a charge. One tip: if there’s any chance you’ll cross that grace window, grab a ticket and park properly so you’re not rushing a tight pickup.
