Group coaches load at the commercial lane outside Terminal 1
Charter Bus Pickup at Hector International Airport uses the same commercial vehicle curb in front of Terminal 1, so groups meet their coach right outside baggage claim. Drivers usually stage in the marked charter and bus area, not in the standard passenger pickup lanes. Look for buses lining up near the taxi and hotel shuttle section rather than at the private car curb.
This option is strictly for groups moving together by coach, not for individual ticketed bus service, and it runs whenever a charter company schedules it, not on a fixed airport timetable. Most operators coordinate directly with arriving flights at FAR, using airline and flight numbers to time their arrival at Terminal 1. If your group has more than one flight, make sure the charter contract lists all arrival times by airline and flight number.
Hector International Airport has only Terminal 1, so Charter Bus Pickup is always on the same side of the field, regardless of airline. Bags come out on the lower level near the main exit doors, and the walk to the charter curb is usually under 3 minutes from any baggage carousel. Tell your driver which door number you are using at Terminal 1 so they can pull up within sight of your group.
Most charter companies bill by the hour with minimums that often start around 3 or 4 hours, even if the airport segment from FAR takes less than 30 minutes into central Fargo. Ask your provider in advance about extra charges for delays over 30–60 minutes if your flight into Terminal 1 runs late. For large events, some operators send two coaches to FAR to handle more than 50 passengers and heavy luggage.
Practical tip: Set your meeting point as a specific numbered door at Terminal 1 and share that exact location with every rider and the charter company so the coach, luggage, and passengers all line up in the same spot on the curb.
