Gate-side magazines and snacks in T2
Hudson News at Zvartnots T2 sits airside after passport control, an easy stop on the walk to most international gates. It’s the standard North American-style newsstand: shelves of bottled drinks, packaged snacks, candy, and a wall of books and magazines. Prices run higher than Yerevan city shops, but in line with typical airport markups, so budget a couple of extra euros or dollars per item.
The shop stocks travel basics like plug adapters, phone chargers, headphones, and power banks, useful if you forgot gear before clearing T2 security. You’ll also find neck pillows and small blankets in the 7,000–12,000 AMD range, plus eye masks and earplugs near the counter. Stationery and pens sit by the magazines, handy if you still deal with paper immigration forms or customs declarations on some routes.
For food, expect candy bars, chips, nuts, and a small fridge with soft drinks and water, with 0.5L bottles usually around 600–900 AMD. Coffee options are mostly bottled and canned; any hot coffee is from nearby cafés, not brewed in Hudson itself. If you want a more substantial meal before a 4–5 hour flight, eat elsewhere in T2, then use Hudson as a backup snack run.
The shop keeps typical airport hours, opening roughly 2–3 hours before the first morning departures and staying open until the last late-night flights leave T2. Payments work fine with international cards, and Armenian dram is accepted alongside major foreign currencies. Quick tip: grab water and a charger here before heading to your gate area, since options thin out closer to some remote stands.
