11 gates 4 airlines 14 restaurants 17 shops

Terminal B hosts 4 airlines across 11 gates. You'll find 14 dining options, 17 shops here.

North-side gates B1–B11 handle American, Delta, and United

Concourse B sits on the north side of El Paso International and holds 11 gates, typically numbered B1 through B11, for American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines, while Southwest uses Concourse A. The concourses share the same central post-security hall, so you clear TSA once in the main checkpoint and then walk straight ahead for B instead of veering off toward A.

The layout runs in a straight line off that shared hall, so from security you’re looking at roughly a 3–7 minute walk to most B gates depending on pace. Higher-numbered B gates sit farther out toward the end of the pier, while the lower B gates cluster closer to the food and shops in the central spine where Concourse A and B split.

Food runs from tacos to chain burgers

PGA Tour Grill sits near the center of the concourse and works for a sit-down meal with a beer before an American or United flight, with burgers and sandwiches generally in the $12–$18 range. Chili’s Too and Smashburger give you more familiar chain options along the B side, while Taco Bell and Subway cover cheaper fast food if you just want something under $10 to take to the gate.

Tia's Tex-Mex and Slice are the better bets if you want local-ish flavors or a quick slice of pizza before boarding a Delta flight. Tia’s hits the salsa-and-tacos itch without a long wait at off-peak times, and Slice usually has pies ready in warming cases so you can be in and out in under 5 minutes between boarding calls.

Coffee, bars, and quick snacks around the gates

Starbucks anchors the coffee lineup in the post-security hall, and lines there around the 6:00–8:00 a.m. bank of departures can run 10–15 minutes, so budget extra if your American or United flight boards at 6:30. Chiquis Coffee Cart can be faster during those peaks and still pours espresso drinks and drip coffee, plus grab-and-go pastries and snacks for under $6.

19th Hole Bar & Snacks, Sun City Saloon, and PGA Tour Grill all pour drinks near the B gates, useful if your connection runs over 45 minutes and you want a beer instead of sitting at the boarding area. 19th Hole doubles as a small shop for packaged snacks and bottled drinks, so you can grab a to-go beer (where allowed), a bag of chips, and head back toward gate B5 or B7 without walking the whole concourse again.

Shopping: books, tech, and last-minute cables

Heritage Book Sellers and Sun City News sit in the main concourse area between A and B, with magazines, paperbacks, and local El Paso souvenirs typically priced in the $10–$25 range. If you left a charger at home, Tech on the Go and InMotion Entertainment stock phone cables, power banks, and headphones, and both are close enough to the B gates that you can do a quick run from B3 or B4 during boarding group calls.

Most of the branded spots double as shops, so PGA Tour Grill, Starbucks, and Schlotzsky’s / Cinnabon also sell bottled drinks and packaged snacks that work as backup plane food. If your gate is at the far end, closer to B10 or B11, hit Sun City Saloon or 19th Hole on your way down so you’re not backtracking 5–7 minutes when boarding starts.

Lounges and final tips

Concourse B has no airline clubs or independent lounges, so American, Delta, and United elites sit in the general gate areas near B1–B11. Power outlets are scattered but not at every seat, so charge in the central seating areas near Starbucks and Sun City News before you walk down to a less-equipped end gate like B9.

One practical tip: TSA queues at ELP typically run under 20 minutes, but early Monday mornings and Sunday evenings can spike, so be inside the terminal 75–90 minutes before departure and plan to grab food near the split between A and B before you commit to walking all the way to your gate.
