Gate-side Tex-Mex in Terminal B, open from 4:30 a.m.
Tia's Tex-Mex sits in Terminal B, serving tacos and breakfast plates from 4:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily, which covers the first ELP departures and most afternoon flights. It’s post-security, so you’re fine to head straight here after TSA if you’re on B gates.
The menu leans standard Tex-Mex: think breakfast tacos early, then burritos, nachos, and combo plates later in the day. Prices run in typical airport territory, roughly a few dollars higher than what you’d see in town, but still under usual sit-down chain levels. Portions come out on the larger side, so one main is usually plenty before a flight.
Service is counter-style, so you order, grab your drink, and wait for your name. That makes Tia’s viable on a 45-minute layover in Terminal B, assuming no long line. If you’re tight on time, stick to tacos or burritos; they usually land quicker than full platters with sides.
There’s basic seating nearby in the B concourse, and you can easily carry food back toward your gate if boarding time is close. Hours cap at 6:00 p.m., so for later departures from Terminal B you’ll be pushed to snack stands instead.
Tip: On morning flights out of Terminal B, grab a breakfast taco at Tia’s around 5:00 a.m. and skip the slower coffee lines closer to the end of the concourse.
