By gate B6, this is ELP’s main book stop
Heritage Book Sellers sits right by gate B6 in Terminal B, so you see it as you head toward the smaller regional flights. It’s past security, on the concourse, so you don’t need extra time to reach it after TSA. If your flight boards out of B4–B8, this is the last real place to grab a paperback without roaming the whole terminal.
Hours run 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily, which means early departures to Dallas or Houston can still grab reading material before boarding. Late-night flights after 7 p.m. are out of luck, so plan on a morning or afternoon stop. If your departure is after 6 p.m., swing by before you eat at any B-gate spot.
The shop focuses on books first: recent bestsellers, a solid chunk of mass-market paperbacks, and the usual airport mix of thrillers and business titles. You’ll also find regional interest books about El Paso and West Texas alongside national titles. Prices sit at standard airport markup, with paperbacks typically a few dollars above downtown bookstore pricing.
Heritage carries magazines and a small rack of puzzle books and coloring books, useful for 2–3 hour flights when Wi‑Fi cuts out. Kids’ titles tend to cluster near the front counter, so you can do a quick scan while staying in line. Expect a couple of branded bookmarks and basic reading lights near the register.
Tip: if you’re tight on time, walk straight from security toward gate B6, scan the center book tables first, and be in and out in under 5 minutes.
