Families get the most out of this center, especially those traveling with young kids to or from Fort Bliss, 10–15 minutes away by car. There’s usually a small play or kids’ area with toys or books so parents can sit for a minute while children burn off energy. Seating fills up during peak PCS times and holiday blocks, so expect tighter space around common departure windows for military charter and morning bank flights.

Hours can shift with volunteer coverage, but the USO El Paso site lists the current daily schedule, and typical opening is around standard daytime hours rather than 24/7. If you have an early 5:30–7:00 a.m. departure or a late-night arrival, have a backup plan in the main terminal in case the doors are locked.
