Souvenir Shop

Exit security and you’ll see the Souvenir Shop on your left

This is the main souvenir stop at North Eleuthera Airport (ELH), just past the small security area before you reach the departure seating. It’s a single-room shop, so you can scan everything in 5–10 minutes and still make a short-hop flight to Nassau or Miami without stressing the boarding line.

Stock skews heavily to Eleuthera and Bahamas-branded items: T‑shirts, caps, basic beach gear, and fridge magnets with “Eleuthera” stamped across them. Prices sit in the usual island-airport range, so expect to pay a few dollars more than in town; figure around $20–$35 for shirts and $8–$15 for smaller trinkets. If you forgot a basic gift for someone back home, this fixes that gap in one stop.

Selection runs more souvenir than practical travel kit, so don’t count on replacing a phone charger or power bank here. You’ll mostly see shell-themed knick-knacks, keychains, mugs, and simple jewelry tied to local beaches. Stock can thin later in the day when the afternoon flights bunch up, so first pass is smartest if you arrive more than 60 minutes before departure.

Payment is usually cash in Bahamian or US dollars; card acceptance at ELH can be hit or miss across vendors, and this shop is no exception. ATMs on Eleuthera are limited, and you will not find a full bank branch in this terminal, so bring small bills if you want a quick magnet or T‑shirt without drama at the till.

Tip: Check shirt sizes and prints carefully before you pay; once you walk the 30–40 meters back toward the tiny gate area, staff may not be keen on mid-rush exchanges.
