Hardscrabble sits airside in Terminal T by Gate 2, so this is the main place to get a real meal once you’re through security at EGE. It runs daily from 1 hour before the first departure until the last flight leaves, which usually lines up with the morning and afternoon ski-bank waves. Full bar, tables, and a few seats that look straight onto the single runway.

Menu leans bar-and-grill: burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings, and standard breakfast plates when those early Denver and Dallas flights go out. Expect airport pricing, roughly $15–$20 for a burger and fries and similar for sandwiches. Beer list is heavy on Colorado labels plus the usual macros. Mixed drinks run in the low-teens. Portions are decent enough that one entree can cover you for a 2–3 hour connection through Denver later.

Service pace tracks the flight banks: when three departures are stacked in a 60–90 minute window, food can take 20–30 minutes. On off-peak shoulders between banks, you can usually be in and out in under half an hour. Because hours are tied to the day’s schedule, a delayed last outbound often means the bar stays open later than the printed times.

Practical move: if your boarding pass shows a tight turn and you want something substantial, grab a seat at the bar instead of a table and order as soon as you see your flight listed on the single main departures screen near Gate 2.
