Masale sits in Dubai International’s Terminal 2, so this is an option mainly for flydubai and regional carriers using T2. It’s past security, which matters at DXB where T1 and T3 are a separate footprint and you can’t easily wander between terminals once checked in. If your boarding pass shows T2, Masale is one of the few Indian-focused spots you’ll see in this compact terminal.

Food here centers on Indian staples: think curries, rice, and breads rather than burgers or pizza. Terminal 2 prices at DXB generally run higher than downtown Dubai, so expect airport-level pricing rather than 10–20 AED street-side plates. Portions usually lean toward single-traveler meals, not big sharing platters, which works for 45–60 minute turnarounds common on regional flights.

Hours track with T2’s early-morning wave of flights, with operations starting ahead of those pre-08:00 departures and running into the late evening to catch South Asia rotations. Because Terminal 2 is smaller than T3, seats can fill during the 2–3 hour banks before mid-morning and late-night flights. If you land from a regional hop into T2, you’ll only see Masale on the departures side, not in arrivals, so plan on eating before you exit toward baggage claim.

Expect quick-service style ordering at the counter, not full table service with 45-minute meals. Food typically comes out in under 15–20 minutes, which fits DXB’s tight turnaround habits on flydubai and other short-haul flights operating from T2. If you have under 30 minutes to boarding time showing on the screens, grab something simple that holds well, like rice-based dishes rather than saucy options.
