Terminal 1 Car Park A sits directly in front of Dubai International Airport’s T1, signed for short-stay parking. It’s the closest general-use car park to T1 check-in, so you’re usually at the doors in about 3–5 minutes on foot if you park near the pedestrian exits.

This is a short-stay option, suited to drop-offs, pick-ups and quick trips of a few hours rather than multi-day travel. Pricing is tiered by hour, with costs climbing quickly once you pass the first 2–3 hours, so long-term parking here gets expensive fast compared with off-airport lots or T2/T3 long-stay areas.

The car park is inside the main airport road system for Terminal 1 (T1), fully on the airport side of security fencing but obviously pre-security for passengers. You’ll enter from the T1 access road, take a ticket at the barrier, then pay at machines near the pedestrian exits or at manned counters before driving out. Keep the ticket dry; the readers at DXB can be picky if the barcode gets damaged.

Spaces in Car Park A can fill up around peak outbound banks, especially in the late evening (roughly 20:00–01:00) when T1 departures spike. If you’re aiming for a check-in cutoff, build in an extra 10–15 minutes in case you need to loop for a spot or park slightly farther from the terminal walkway.

Best move here: aim for levels or rows that line up with the signed pedestrian bridges to Terminal 1. That keeps your walk short and mostly covered, which helps in Dubai heat and cuts your curbside time to just a couple of minutes.
