T1’s Irish Whiskey Collection sits airside near security in T1.
This shop in Dublin Airport’s T1 focuses almost entirely on Irish whiskey, with shelves of single malts, blends, and special bottlings you rarely see outside Ireland. You’ll find it airside after security, before most of the main food spots, so it’s hard to miss on the standard walk to gates in T1. Prices track typical airport duty free: some bottles under €30, gift-worthy stuff climbing well past €100.
Staff usually offer small samples of selected whiskeys, which helps if you’re choosing between a classic like Jameson and pricier age-statement or distillery-exclusive bottles. Stock skews heavily Irish, but there are a few Scotch and other international options on the back shelves. If you want something quick to carry, they sell 5cl miniatures and pre-packed gift sets that fit easily in a cabin bag and stay under most customs thresholds.
There’s whisky at the main duty free too, but this T1 shop is more focused and easier to browse if you have under 15 minutes before boarding. Expect more limited-edition releases and travel-retail-only labels than in a typical city centre off-licence. Ask about current promotions; multi-buy deals on mid-range bottles rotate often and can shave €5–€10 off compared with buying one at a time.
Tip: if you’re connecting onward outside the EU, keep receipts handy and check your next country’s alcohol allowance before you grab that second 1-litre bottle.
