Gate-side grab-and-go just past security in T1
Press and Convenience Shop sits airside in Terminal T1, after security and before you head up to the gates. It’s the quick stop for a bottle of water, a magazine in German or English, and last‑minute travel bits like chargers and adaptors. Prices track with typical German airport levels: expect around €3 for a soft drink and similar for a basic snack bar.
The shop keeps hours that roughly follow the flight bank, generally opening early morning in time for the first departures and staying open until the last evening flights push out. Stock leans heavily on snacks, sweets, soft drinks and a small range of toiletries. You’ll also see newspapers, puzzle books and a few kid-friendly items that work as emergency in-flight entertainment.
Think of it as the place to fix small problems before boarding: you forgot toothpaste, your phone cable died, or you want a 0.5L water for under €4 instead of relying on buy-on-board. Card payment works fine, including contactless, and you’ll be in and out in under five minutes unless a full 737 just emptied from security.
One practical tip: if you want a proper meal, hit the main T1 food spots first and use Press and Convenience Shop only for snacks and reading material on the way to your gate.
