Landside shuttle bus

Every 10 minutes, Terminal Link loops all five DFW terminals

Terminal Link is DFW's landside green shuttle bus that connects Terminals A, B, C, D, and E every 10 minutes during peak times. It only runs outside security, so you use it after baggage claim, before check-in, or between terminals if you haven't gone through TSA yet.

The buses stop at clearly marked green "Terminal Link" signs at curbside on the upper level of each terminal. Each stop is numbered, and you can move between Terminal A, B, C, D, and E without paying a fare; the shuttle is free for all passengers and airport visitors.

Use Terminal Link if you land in Terminal E but your checked bag recheck counter is in Terminal A or B, or if your airline moves you from, say, C to D before you have a boarding pass. It also works for meeting an arriving passenger at a different terminal without re-parking or re-entering the toll plaza.

Terminal Link operates throughout the day in sync with DFW flight schedules, covering early-morning banks and late-night arrivals, though exact first and last bus times can shift with the airport timetable. During off-peak hours, headways may stretch beyond the 10-minute mark, so build in an extra 10–15 minutes if you're moving from A to E late at night.

Compared with the Skylink train, which runs airside inside security, Terminal Link is your backup when you can't or don't want to clear TSA twice. For example, if you arrive by car at Terminal D parking but fly out of Terminal C, taking Terminal Link once beats going through security at D and then transferring by Skylink.

Step-by-step to use Terminal Link:

  • 1. After exiting baggage claim in Terminal A, B, C, D, or E, go up one level to departures.
  • 2. Follow signs for the green "Terminal Link" curbside stops on the upper roadway.
  • 3. Check the stop sign for the list of terminals served and confirm A, B, C, D, or E as needed.
  • 4. Wait at the marked zone; buses typically arrive every 10 minutes during busy periods.
  • 5. Board through the front door, confirm the terminal with the driver, and ride until your terminal is announced.
  • 6. Exit at your terminal and follow signs to ticketing, baggage claim, or parking.

One practical tip: if you have a tight curb-to-curb move of under 20 minutes between, say, Terminal A and Terminal D, consider being dropped directly at the correct terminal instead of relying on Terminal Link timing.
