SuperShuttle shared vans run to and from all DFW terminals

SuperShuttle runs shared vans serving terminals A, B, C, D, and E at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). You ride with other passengers headed in roughly the same direction, and the van stops at each person’s address or hotel instead of using fixed routes. It’s a middle ground between an individual taxi and the TRE or DART rail from Terminal A.

Pickup is curbside outside baggage claim at each terminal, usually on the arrivals level near the blue “Shared Ride” or “Shuttle” signs for A, B, C, D, and E. You do not need to go back through security once you exit to meet the van, but you should plan 10–15 minutes after landing to get bags and walk out to the pickup zone. Drivers may wait a few minutes to group passengers on the same route.

SuperShuttle pricing is per person, not per vehicle, and varies by distance from DFW; a typical shared ride into central Dallas runs less than a private taxi in the same traffic window. You pay when you book, not in the van, so have your reservation confirmed before you step to the curb. Tips are usually added in the app, not in cash, though drivers will accept cash if you prefer.

Most people book SuperShuttle online or in the app at least a few hours before arrival, especially for late-night landings after 22:00 or early-morning airport runs before 06:00. Same-day bookings are often possible, but vans can be tight during peak bank times for American Airlines departures in terminals A, C, and D. Always enter the exact terminal letter for pickup so the driver can find you quickly.

For departures from DFW, SuperShuttle will ask your airline and recommend a pickup time that lands you at terminal A, B, C, D, or E about 2 hours before a domestic flight or 3 hours before an international flight. Build extra time if you’re checking bags with American in terminal A or D, since those desks can back up 20–30 minutes during morning banks. One practical move: keep your phone ringer on so you don’t miss the “arrived” call or text from the driver at curbside.
