7-Eleven

A

Gate-side snacks cheaper than most Terminal A options

This 7-Eleven sits in Terminal A at DFW, past security, and prices run closer to street-level than typical airport newsstands. You’ll see the usual blue, green, and orange signage as soon as you clear the mid-terminal area, making it an easy grab-and-go stop between A10 and A20.

Expect standard 7-Eleven staples: $2–$3 bottled drinks, packaged snacks under $5, candy, gum, and basic travel toiletries like toothpaste and pain relievers. Compared with many sit-down spots in Terminal A, you can walk in, pay, and be back at your gate in under 5 minutes if lines are short.

Hot food is limited to typical convenience items—think reheated pastries and pre-made sandwiches in the $6–$9 range—so save your actual meal plans for one of the terminal restaurants near gates A16–A21. Coffee is basic drip and machine-based options, usually under $4, which still beats the $6–$7 cups elsewhere in the terminal.

Watch out for tight congestion around the coolers at peak bank times when American’s departures from A gates bunch up, especially around the :30 marks in the morning and late afternoon. Lines can back up to 8–10 people quickly because there are usually only one or two registers open.

Tip: grab drinks and snacks here before heading to the far end of A, where choices thin out near the smaller gates and prices tend to creep up at bar-style spots.
