TGI Fridays (Terminal B)

B

Gate-side chain comfort in Terminal B

TGI Fridays sits airside in Terminal B at DFW, handy if your flight’s out of the B20–B29 cluster and you want something familiar before boarding. It’s the same red-and-black stripes you know from town, just with rolling suitcases instead of Little League teams. Figure on basic sit-down timing: about 35–45 minutes for a full meal if the dining room’s half full.

Menu is standard Fridays: burgers, wings, pastas, and salads, with most mains in the $14–$20 range and appetizers around $9–$13 as of 2024. You’ll see the usual suspects like the Bacon Cheeseburger, Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta, and loaded potato skins, plus a kids’ section if you’re moving through B with family. Portions run generous by airport standards, so one starter and one entree can easily feed two lighter eaters.

The bar along the concourse side draws passengers killing a 60–90 minute layover. Expect beer taps from national brands, a short bottled list, and sugary cocktails in the $11–$15 range. During NFL Sundays and big games, the TVs over the bar run ESPN or whatever’s live, so B-gate sports fans camp here instead of at the food court by B10. If you just need a quick drink, bar seating turns faster than tables.

Service at this Terminal B location generally runs smoother outside the 5 p.m.–8 p.m. bank of departures; hit it at 2 p.m. and you’re more likely to be in and out under 40 minutes. Like most chains, quality swings by kitchen crew and rush level, but fries, wings, and burgers are the safest calls when they’re slammed. If your boarding pass says “Groups 1–3” on a narrowbody from B25, start asking for the check as soon as your main hits the table.

Tip: If your connection is under 50 minutes in Terminal B, grab something to-go from Fridays instead of sitting; they’ll box burgers and wings so you can eat at the gate near B23 or B26.
