Gate-side coffee stop in Terminal D

Brewed sits in Terminal D at DFW, handy if you’re flying on many international routes or American Airlines long-haul out of this concourse. It’s past security, so you can grab a drink after clearing TSA instead of juggling liquids in the main lobby. Expect typical airport pricing: drip coffee and basic espresso drinks land in the roughly $4–$7 range depending on size and extras.

The menu leans on espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and a few iced options, plus pastries and grab-and-go bites that work as a light breakfast before a 7:00–9:00 a.m. departure. If you want something quick before boarding a widebody flight in D, this is one of the closer coffee counters in the terminal compared with walking back toward D17 for a chain. Lines usually move faster than the big-brand spots by gates D20–D25.

You’ll see the usual lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos alongside flavored syrups. A medium latte typically runs around $6 with tax, and adding an extra shot or non-dairy milk adds another dollar or so. Food is basic airport fare: muffins, cookies, and a few packaged sandwiches that work in a pinch if your connection into D is under 50 minutes and you don’t have time for a sit-down spot like Pappadeaux near D27.

Seating is limited near the counter, so plan on taking your drink back toward your gate in Terminal D rather than camping out. Power outlets are hit-or-miss at nearby seats, so charge up at your gate’s benches if you’re waiting on a 2–3 hour international flight. Staff turn drinks out reasonably quickly, which helps when boarding for a D-gate flight usually starts 30–40 minutes before departure.

Tip: If your flight leaves from a far D gate like D35 or D40, stop at Brewed on the way and then ride the SkyLink; don’t assume you’ll find another decent coffee option closer to those end-of-pier gates.
