Remote North Parking

Remote lot

Shuttle rides from Remote North to any DFW terminal take about 10–15 minutes.

Remote North Parking sits on the north side of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and serves all terminals A, B, C, D, and E via shuttle. This is an uncovered remote lot, so you’re parking outdoors on standard surface spaces rather than in a garage. It’s one of DFW’s value options, with daily rates set below the terminal garages and often below Express Parking, depending on the day.

Shuttles run 24/7 from Remote North, looping between the lot and each terminal curbside. Typical wait time during the day runs around 10 minutes, but give yourself 15–20 minutes at off-peak hours and late nights. Every shuttle stops at all five terminals in sequence, so if you’re last on the loop (for example, E after A, B, C, D), add another 10–15 minutes to your planning.

Remote North is fully post-tollbooth but pre-security, meaning you enter through a toll plaza, park, then ride to the terminal where you’ll clear TSA. You pay on exit with credit card at the gate or by using the TollTag system that links your parking to your toll account. Standard spaces handle regular cars and SUVs; oversized vehicles use marked areas but pay the same posted daily rate unless DFW changes policy.

There’s no dedicated pedestrian path from Remote North to the terminals, so treat the shuttle as mandatory, not optional. In summer, the open lot gets Texas sun, so expect a hot cabin when you return to your car after a July or August trip. In heavy rain, some rows can collect shallow puddles near drains, so pick a slightly higher row if thunderstorms are in the forecast.

Practical tip: build in 40–45 minutes from Remote North entry gate to your terminal’s TSA line, especially for early-morning flights out of A or D when shuttles and security both stack up.
