Shuttle buses here run directly to all five DFW terminals.
Express North Parking is DFW’s economy shuttle lot on the north side of the airport, aimed at long stays and budget trips. You park your own car, wait at a clearly marked shuttle stop, and ride straight to Terminals A, B, C, D, or E. It sits off North Airfield Drive and feeds into the terminal loop faster than the remote lots on the south side.
Shuttles typically loop every few minutes during peak morning and evening banks, then space out a bit more during mid‑day. Figure 10–15 minutes from the lot to most gates once you’re on the bus, plus time to clear security in your terminal. The shuttles drop near each terminal’s curbside check-in, so you can walk directly to your airline’s counter or TSA line.
Pricing lands below the terminal garages and Express Garages, so it often makes sense if you’re parking 3+ days. Rates are posted at the lot entrance and on the DFW site; compare them to the Terminal Garage daily cap before you drive in. Payment works with credit cards at the exit gates, and toll tags like TollTag or TxTag usually read automatically for faster exit.
Because this is a surface lot, you’re parking outdoors with no covered protection from the Texas sun, hail, or summer storms. The trade-off is capacity: there are usually spaces available even during busy holiday weekends when some closer garages fill or go to “one in, one out” control. Signage in the aisles marks shuttle pickup stops by letter and number so you can drop a pin and find your car later.
Tip: Snap a photo of your row sign and the nearest shuttle stop marker when you park; it saves 5–10 minutes of wandering in the heat when you land back at DFW.
