Most people walk past C29 and miss this Coffee Bean

By gate C29 in the Jeppesen Terminal concourse, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf sits almost invisible next to louder brands and a couple of chains with longer lines. It runs daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., which covers the first bank of DEN departures and most evening flights. If the Starbucks line by security looks like a 20‑minute wait, this is often a 3‑ to 5‑minute backup option.

This is a straight $-tier coffee stop: drip coffee, espresso drinks, and Ice Blendeds usually land in the $3–$7 range depending on size and extras. Food is basic café fare—think pre-made pastries and grab-and-go items under about $6. Nothing here competes with a sit-down breakfast in the main Jeppesen Terminal, but it’s fine if you just need caffeine and something you can eat at the gate.

Coffee Bean’s usual hits show up here: the Vanilla Latte, the Ice Blended line, and a decent cold brew that holds up on longer flights. Tea drinkers get more than the standard black/green box; you’ll see several flavored and herbal options in the $3–$5 range. If you’re picky about milk (almond, oat, etc.), ask before you commit—DEN outlets sometimes run short on alternates later in the day.

Post-security placement near C29 means this shop mainly serves C‑gate traffic, so it’s not worth the walk from A or B unless every closer café is slammed. Lines spike around the 6–8 a.m. bank and again near 4–6 p.m., but they move faster than the bigger chains nearby because the menu is smaller and seating is limited.

Tip: If your boarding pass shows a C‑gate in the high 20s or low 30s, skip the main terminal coffee stops and order here on the way to C29 so you’re not sprinting with a full cup.
