Planned United Polaris Lounge at DEN for long-haul flyers

United confirms a Polaris Lounge is planned at Denver International Airport for eligible long-haul passengers, but the airline has not yet published an opening date. Access should mirror other hubs: generally United Polaris business class on long-haul international flights, plus select long-haul Star Alliance business class partners, not domestic-only itineraries.

The lounge is expected to sit airside off the Jeppesen Terminal concourses, in line with United’s heavy presence in Concourse B, though United has not released a final gate-adjacent location. Plan on using standard DEN security in the Jeppesen Terminal, then walking or taking the train to the correct concourse once the specific build-out appears on airport maps.

Based on pricing at existing Polaris Lounges like ORD and EWR, assume food and drinks inside will be complimentary for those admitted, including a staffed bar and a dining room with made-to-order plates. Guest access at other Polaris locations usually allows one guest for business-class passengers on the same long-haul flight, while Star Alliance Gold on economy tickets does not qualify, and Denver is unlikely to be different.

Other Polaris Lounges run from early morning into late-night bank times, often 5:00 or 5:30 a.m. to around 9:00 or 10:00 p.m., timed to long-haul departures. Expect DEN hours to track the daily Europe and Pacific schedules once United pins down final departure times for flights like Denver–London or Denver–Tokyo, and don’t count on it for very early regional hops.

Right now your backup options at Denver remain the United Club locations in Concourse B, which typically close around 10:00 p.m., and the Capital One Lounge planned elsewhere in the airport, along with Priority Pass restaurants. If you’re holding a future Polaris ticket, plan your connection under the assumption that this dedicated lounge may still be under construction or in soft-opening when you fly.

Tip: when your trip gets close, check the United app under “Lounges” for Denver the week before departure; United usually loads new lounge details—hours, location, and access rules—there before the signage around Jeppesen Terminal catches up.
