Day passes start at the door for Colorado Oasis in DEN

Day-pass only access means Colorado Oasis in the Jeppesen Terminal works best if you want a predictable spot instead of rolling the dice on gate seats. It sits landside, before security, so build in extra time to clear TSA for your concourse after you leave. Check the hours before you plan: Sunday through Friday it runs 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays it closes earlier at 7 p.m.

Being in the Jeppesen Terminal, this lounge serves anyone flying out of DEN’s Concourses A, B, or C, but you still need at least 25–30 minutes to reach far B or C gates on the train after you walk out. It’s an option if you’re dropped off early at the main terminal and don’t have elite status or a credit-card lounge in the concourses. Just remember you can’t shortcut to security from here; you rejoin the regular main-screening lines on Level 5.

Hours matter at DEN, especially with morning banks that start boarding before 6:30 a.m., and Colorado Oasis doesn’t open until 7 a.m. any day. That means it’s a preflight stop for mid-morning flights heading out around 9–11 a.m., or for afternoon departures through about 7 p.m. on Saturday and 9 p.m. on other days. If you’ve got a 10 p.m. departure, plan to move toward your gate once the lounge starts winding down around 8:30 p.m.

Food and drink run on the standard day-pass model, so treat pricing like you would a Priority Pass-style independent lounge and do the math against buying separate meals in the concourse. If you’d normally grab one sit-down meal, a drink, and a coffee in Jeppesen or Concourse B, the day pass typically lands in the same ballpark for a 2–3 hour stay. Shorter than about 60–90 minutes at Colorado Oasis and you’re usually better off hitting a quick-service spot near your gate.

Because Colorado Oasis is before security, it works as a shared meet-up point when one person arrives by train at Level 5 and another returns a rental car from Peña Boulevard. Everyone can gather, use Wi‑Fi, charge up, and then head to the appropriate concourse together. Just time your exit: give yourself at least 20 minutes to clear security during slow periods and 35–40 minutes during morning or early-evening peaks.

Practical tip: with the Saturday 7 p.m. closing time, don’t plan this lounge as your only stop if your flight from DEN boards after about 7:30 p.m.; grab a snack here earlier, then finish the wait closer to your gate.
