Gold gifts under pressure at T3? Tanishq is the safe bet.

This Tanishq outlet sits airside in Terminal T3, after security, and leans hard into last-minute gifting for India–to–abroad flights. Most pieces in the cases are lightweight necklaces, bangles, and studs, built around 18K–22K gold with clear purity markings and Tanishq’s own certification tags. Stock skews toward smaller ticket items that stay under typical customs radar for routes like DEL–LHR or DEL–DXB.

Pricing runs higher than high-street Tanishq, as you’d expect in an international terminal, but you still see simple gold studs starting around a few thousand rupees and small pendants climbing into the mid five-figure range in INR. You won’t find elaborate bridal sets here; space is tight and cases focus on travel-friendly pieces that fit a hand luggage pocket or laptop bag side sleeve.

The crowd is mostly Indians and expats flying out of T3’s international wing: families on Air India to the US, students on Vistara to Europe, and Gulf workers heading to DXB or DOH grabbing gifts with recognizable branding. Staff are used to passengers boarding in under 30 minutes and move quickly through billing, weighing pieces in front of you and printing detailed invoices that match customs forms.

There’s no airport-exclusive collection and no special DEL-only designs; the selling point is trust in the Tanishq name and BIS-hallmarked purity, not novelty. If you already buy from their city stores in Delhi, Gurugram, or Noida, quality and finish feel familiar, just with a tighter mix and fewer heavy items above 40 grams. Cards and UPI work here, but foreign cards sometimes see a 1–2 minute approval lag.

Plan one concrete thing: stop here before you get sucked into the long T3 duty-free corridor; once you hit your far F-gate, walking back to Tanishq can eat 15–20 minutes you don’t have.
