Jason's Deli

A national sandwich name actually shows up in DAL T.

Jason’s Deli sits airside in Terminal T at Dallas Love Field, one of the few recognizable sandwich chains in the building. It runs typical airport hours, roughly covering the first Southwest departures around 5:00 a.m. through the late-evening banks near 9:00–10:00 p.m., though exact closing can slide with traffic. Figure on paying around $10–$14 for a full sandwich, a couple bucks more if you add a drink and chips.

Menu here tracks the standard Jason’s playbook: Reuben, Beefeater, turkey and avocado, muffaletta, plus basic soups and salads. Portions tend to be big enough that one sandwich can easily carry you through a 2–3 hour hop to the coasts. If you care about something green, their salad bar format usually survives airport translation, but expect a trimmed‑down set of toppings compared with a street location.

Service is counter-order with a queue that spikes right after security around 6:30–8:30 a.m. and again before the mid-afternoon departures from about 2:00–4:00 p.m. A made-to-order sandwich often runs 8–12 minutes from tap-to-tray during those peaks. If you’re under a 30‑minute boarding window, stick to pre-made grab-and-go items sitting in the cooler, which usually include at least one turkey or ham option and bottled drinks.

Seating spills into the shared food court-style area near other Terminal T options, so grabbing a table for a group of 3–4 can take a few minutes during the 7:00–9:00 a.m. wave. Power outlets are hit-or-miss; in this area of Love Field, you might find only 1–2 plugs per cluster of four seats. Plan to charge at your gate if you need to get from 20% to 80% before boarding.

Practical tip: If your flight leaves from a far T-gate like 18 or higher, order to go, then walk five minutes toward your gate before unwrapping the sandwich so you’re not sprinting the last 200 yards when boarding hits Group B.
