Love Connection Parking

Remote economy lot

On-airport but off-terminal, Love Connection is DAL’s budget play

Love Connection Parking sits north of Dallas Love Field along Hawes Avenue and serves as the airport’s remote economy lot, run by the City of Dallas. It’s not walkable to Terminal T; everyone rides the shuttle, so factor in the distance and wait time when you pick a flight time and parking plan.

This lot connects to Terminal T with dedicated shuttle buses that loop between the lot and the terminal, typically every few minutes at peak flight times. You load and unload at curbside outside T, so there’s no extra skytrain or people mover on top of the bus. Plan on at least 15–20 minutes from locking your car at Love Connection to standing at TSA security in the terminal.

Love Connection is priced below the main DAL parking garages and the on-airport Economy lots, making it the cheapest city-run option when it’s open. Rates change, but the point of this lot is saving real money per day versus Garage A, B, or C at Terminal T. If you’re parking for five or more days, the total difference can easily hit double digits.

Because it’s a remote surface lot, Love Connection can close or reach capacity on busy DAL days and holidays. The airport sometimes redirects drivers to other lots when this happens, which can burn 10–15 minutes if you arrive tight on time. Always check DAL’s official parking status page or airport social feeds on the day you fly before you commit to driving straight to this lot.

Tip: Add a 30-minute buffer on top of your normal airport arrival time if you’re using Love Connection Parking, especially for early Southwest departures out of Terminal T.
