Outback Steakhouse is on the way out of CVG’s Concourse B

Outback Steakhouse sits in Terminal B at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) but the airport has already announced a Bengals-themed sports bar is taking its place. If you see it still operating during the transition, this is a last-chance stop for a sit-down chain steakhouse before boarding from the B gates. Expect standard Outback branding and menu, not a local Cincinnati spin.

Being in Concourse B means it’s post-security and walkable from most B gates in under 5–7 minutes, depending on your exact gate. That’s handy if you’re connecting through CVG and want more than a grab-and-go sandwich. Seating skews toward tables and booths, so groups with 3–4 people can usually sit together more easily than at the nearby bar-and-grill concepts.

Menu pricing tracks typical airport-chain levels: burgers often land in the mid-teens in dollars, and steaks jump into the low-to-mid $20s and up. You’ll see the familiar Bloomin’ Onion, ribeye, sirloin, and chicken plates, along with a basic beer list and standard soft drinks. Portions are chain-big, which can be a plus if this is your only real meal between a morning departure and a late-evening arrival.

Since there are no standout local dishes or strong regulars’ rituals reported, stick to what Outback does most consistently: the Bloomin’ Onion and a straightforward burger or grilled chicken plate. If you’re tight on time, skip the heavier steaks; they slow down both kitchen ticket times and your own ability to eat and get to the gate. Bar seating can move faster than waiting for a booth when the concourse gets busy around afternoon bank departures.

Tip: check your boarding time before sitting; if you have under 45 minutes to departure from a mid-to-high B gate number, hit a quicker counter spot in Terminal B instead of committing to a full Outback meal that may run 30–40 minutes door-to-door.
