Closed: Hop & Cask in Concourse B
Hop & Cask used to sit in CVG’s Concourse B, but it’s now gone and replaced by Carmella’s Modern Trattoria. If you see Hop & Cask on an old airport map or blog post, treat it as out of date. The space is still dining, just under a completely different concept and menu.
This was a full-service bar and restaurant past security in Terminal B, serving sit-down meals and draft beer to passengers on Delta and other B-gate flights. Now, from those same B gates, the option in that footprint is Italian-focused Carmella’s instead of the old Hop & Cask bar menu.
You won’t find current hours or a menu for Hop & Cask because operations have stopped and the brand is no longer listed on the official Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) dining pages. Any third-party guide that still lists Hop & Cask is pulling pre-change data from before Carmella’s opened in that concourse.
Plan around Concourse B’s real offerings in 2024: Carmella’s Modern Trattoria, plus other B-concourse names like Outback Steakhouse and fast-casual spots spread along the B gates. Prices in this concourse run typical airport levels, with sit-down mains often landing in the $15–$25 range and beers generally north of $8.
If an app or article tells you to “meet at Hop & Cask in Terminal B,” read that as “meet somewhere in Concourse B dining.” Use current CVG maps or the airport’s site to confirm what’s actually open near your specific gate number before you walk the length of B looking for a sign that isn’t there.
