Escape Lounge

Concourse B · near B12 Open · 05:00-21:30 Day pass $60

Near gate B12, this is now CVG’s main paid lounge

Escape Lounge in Concourse B runs 05:00–21:30 and effectively replaces the old tiny Club in A. It sits near gate B12, a short walk from most Delta and American gates in the B pier, so it’s the only realistic lounge option for most mainline departures out of Cincinnati today.

Day passes run about $60 at the door, but most regulars come in on Priority Pass, Amex Platinum, or Delta Reserve rather than paying cash. The space is several times larger than the old 1,900 sq ft Club A‑concourse room, and early visitors on FlyerTalk called it “5x larger,” which tracks with the extra seating pockets around the windows.

Access is airside in Concourse B, so once you clear security from the Main terminal, you just walk down to the B‑gates and follow signs near B12/B21. Figure 5–7 minutes from the central escalators to the lounge at an average pace, less if you’re already sitting by the Delta and American clusters around B15–B20.

Food runs off a small buffet line that rotates during the day: think basic breakfast items in the 05:00–10:00 window and simple hot bites and snacks later. Reviews mention that options repeat if you’re on weekly routes, so don’t expect a huge change between, say, a Monday and Thursday evening around 18:00.

Wi‑Fi performance in the old Club setup handled video streaming in blogger tests, and users report similar “decent” speeds in the Escape‑branded space here. Power outlets show up at most counter seats and along the wall benches, so grabbing a laptop spot near the windows by B21 usually means both power and acceptable bandwidth.

The big miss: there are still no restrooms inside the lounge. You step back into the Concourse B hallway each time, using the public bathrooms a few doors down toward B10–B14. That’s the recurring complaint on FlyerTalk, especially for longer waits of 2–3 hours between bank waves.

Crowding tracks to Delta and American banks, roughly mid‑morning and early evening. Flyers say the calmest windows are after the early morning rush (around 09:30–11:00) and between the afternoon and evening waves (roughly 14:00–16:30), when finding a window seat with an outlet is easiest.

Tip: if you have Priority Pass or Amex Platinum and an early flight, be at the lounge doors near 05:00, grab breakfast and a power seat, then leave as soon as your gate posts boarding time to avoid the pre‑flight crush.
