Delta Sky Club

There is no Delta Sky Club currently operating at CVG.

Delta shut down its dedicated Sky Club at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport after the CVG hub was scaled back in the late 2010s, and there is still no replacement in 2026. Concourse B shows multiple Delta departures daily, but none of them leave from a lounge with a Delta logo on the door.

Concourse B remains the main Delta concourse at CVG, and that’s where Delta frequent flyers now default to the Escape Lounge near the midpoint of the B gates. Regulars on FlyerTalk point out that this third‑party option has effectively taken the role of the “Delta lounge” for SkyMiles elites based in Cincinnati, even though it’s not branded as a Sky Club.

Most Delta Medallion members and Amex cardholders use Escape Lounge access that comes with Priority Pass, Amex Platinum, or Delta Reserve cards, then walk to their Delta gate on B in under 5 minutes. This is a very different setup from former hub days, when the Sky Club sat directly in Delta’s footprint and entry was tied mainly to Sky Club membership or same‑day premium cabin tickets.

Frequent flyers complain that since the de‑hub decision around 2010–2011, CVG feels like a spoke station in terms of premium ground product. The lack of a Sky Club means no Sky Priority-branded check‑in lounge space, no dedicated Delta showers, and none of the usual Sky Club perks that exist at ATL, DTW, or MSP.

What regulars do now: they time their visit to the Escape Lounge so they can stay until about 30 minutes before boarding for most domestic Delta flights from B. On shorter layovers under 45 minutes, many skip the lounge entirely and sit near their gate, because walking to and from the lounge plus potential lines at the desk can eat up 10–15 minutes fast.

Practical tip: if you’re a Delta loyalist flying out of Concourse B and want lounge time, plan around the Escape Lounge’s location and your card benefits, and don’t assume a Delta Sky Club desk agent or app entry screen exists at CVG anymore.
