Mini Market

Near the CUR check-in area, Mini Market covers last-minute basics

Mini Market sits landside at Curaçao’s Hato International Airport (CUR), handy if you’re still before security and realize you forgot something. It’s a small walk-up shop, so think quick grabs rather than full grocery run. Prices run higher than in Willemstad supermarkets, but still reasonable for an airport, with snacks and drinks typically a few guilders above town.

You’ll see the usual travel standbys: bottled water, sodas, chips, candy bars, and some single-serve cookies and crackers, helpful for short hops to Aruba or Bonaire of under 30 minutes. There are also basic toiletries like travel-size toothpaste, disposable razors, and deodorant, plus a few simple over-the-counter items, useful if your bag is already checked and you need something before a 3–4 hour flight.

Mini Market also keeps a small stock of Curaçao-branded souvenirs and packaged sweets, including boxed candies and small logo items that fit in a personal item under the seat. It’s open through most of the daily departure window, typically from early-morning bank flights around 06:00 through the evening departure peaks, though closing times can shift with the schedule, especially outside high season.

If you’re tight on time, hit Mini Market before security while waiting for check-in or bag drop to open, then head straight to the gate area. One practical move: grab water and a snack here if your airline charges for everything on board and your hop out of CUR is over two hours.
