Local Souvenir Shop

10 minutes is plenty to sweep through Local Souvenir Shop at CUR.

This small post-security shop sits in the main departures area at Curaçao International and focuses almost entirely on Curaçao-themed gifts. You’ll see the usual duty free nearby, but this one leans into island-branded items: “Dushi” t‑shirts, Curaçao-logo caps, colorful fridge magnets, and keychains with Willemstad’s pastel façades. Stock skews toward quick-grab souvenirs you can toss in a carry-on without repacking on the floor.

Local Souvenir Shop keeps typical daytime flight hours, roughly first departures through the last evening bank, so figure something like 6:00–21:00 most days. Prices land in the standard airport range: magnets around a few US dollars, shirts noticeably higher than in town, and small trinkets still under $10. If you skipped Punda or Otrobanda shops and want “Curaçao” on a mug or shot glass before you board, this is your safety net.

Product mix is about 70% logo gear and magnets, with the rest split between beachy accessories and a handful of local-themed snacks or mini bottles. Don’t expect deep artisan craftwork or serious liquor deals; think more along the lines of last-minute gifts for coworkers or kids. You can do a full lap in under 5 minutes, 10 if you’re comparing shirt designs.

Tip: stop here after you know your gate number at CUR, not before; it’s quicker to backtrack a couple of minutes than to juggle bags and breakables if your gate changes late.
