Pizza Outlet

$$$$

Pizza here costs more than in Willemstad’s city center

Pizza Outlet sits airside in Curaçao’s Hato International Airport (CUR), in the main departures area after security, and it charges clear “airport pricing” compared with pizzerias downtown. Expect to pay mid-$$ for a slice or personal pie that would be a few ANG cheaper in Willemstad or at the old market stalls locals recommend. It’s essentially your last-minute carb stop before boarding, a quick counter setup geared to walk-up orders between passport control and the gates.

Menu boards usually show classic options: cheese, pepperoni, and one or two toppings combos, plus soft drinks and bottled water, all at marked-up airport rates. Figure on paying restaurant prices for fast-food level pizza: a couple of slices and a drink can nudge toward what a sit-down meal costs in town. Portions run standard US-style slice size rather than the bigger pies you might find in Pietermaai or near the pontoon bridge.

Feedback from Curaçao regulars: the pizza tastes fine, but nobody flies home talking about it. Several compare it directly to anonymous “pizza in the terminal” and say they ate better, cheaper pizza in Willemstad earlier in the trip. That matches the general pattern: repeat visitors eat in the city or at the old market, then treat airport pizza as a backup only if they mis-time lunch or arrive at CUR three hours before a US or Europe departure.

Watch out for the bill if you’re feeding a group of three or four; prices per slice add up fast next to local ANG menus downtown. Lines spike around afternoon bank of departures, roughly 14:00–17:00, when multiple North America and regional flights board. One practical move: if you care about food value, eat in town before heading to CUR, then use Pizza Outlet just for a single slice or shared pie to tide you over if your flight runs late.
