Los Cinco Soles

T3

Right after T3 security at CUN, Los Cinco Soles hits you with bright colors and shelves of Mexican gifts. This is the big all-in-one souvenir shop in Terminal 3, so you see it on most international departures. It sits along the main passenger flow toward the gates, so you don’t have to detour to find it.

Los Cinco Soles in T3 leans hard into Mexico-made goods: tequila and mezcal bottles, vanilla, local sweets, textiles, and silver-toned jewelry. Prices for small candy or keychains often sit in the US$5–10 range, while tequila climbs quickly into US$40+ territory. It is not duty free, so don’t expect the same alcohol pricing you see in the main duty free stores in Terminal 3.

You’ll also spot Talavera-style ceramics, painted skulls, and T-shirts with “Cancún” logos along the T3 corridor. Quality ranges: some pieces look artisan, some clearly mass-produced. If you want a last-minute gift before a flight with American, United, or other big carriers out of T3, this is usually the simplest one-stop option between security and the gates.

Watch your timing: lines at the single register in T3 can hit 10–15 minutes when multiple flights board around the same 14:00–17:00 window. Staff in this Terminal 3 branch are used to tight departures, but they won’t rush customs rules on food or liquids. Tip: pick small, packable items under 100 ml or soft goods, so you can shove everything into your backpack and walk straight to boarding.
