Most CTU lounge passes in T2 route you here by default
In Chengdu Shuangliu T2 domestic, “First Class Lounge” is the generic contract option many bank cards, Priority Pass-style products, and Chinese OTAs point to, but detailed trip reports are rare enough that you should treat it as a basic layover stop, not a destination in itself.
This lounge sits airside in Terminal 2’s domestic area, so you clear security first, then follow T2 signs for VIP/first-class lounges rather than T1. If your boarding pass only says “First Class Lounge” with no brand attached and you’re in T2, odds are this is the one the agent sends you to.
Opening hours generally mirror domestic flight banks in T2, with doors usually open from early morning through late evening departures, roughly in the 06:00–22:00 window, but you should assume shorter hours near the last flights on the domestic schedule and have a gate-side backup plan after 21:00.
Access typically runs through domestic business- or first-class tickets in Terminal 2, plus select Chinese credit cards and prepaid lounge schemes sold through sites like Trip.com and LoungePair, so check if your card issuer or bank benefit page lists “Chengdu Shuangliu T2 First Class Lounge” by name before you pay cash at the door.
Food in contract lounges at CTU T2 usually means simple Chinese hot dishes, instant noodles, and basic snacks, so expect things like congee at breakfast and rice with one or two stir-fry trays later in the day rather than anything chef-driven or made to order off a menu.
Drinks in similar CTU T2 lounges tend to run to canned soft drinks, bottled water, tea, and machine coffee, with the occasional local beer in cans; if you care about espresso or specific brands, grab something in the main T2 departures area before you swipe into the lounge.
Power outlets in older domestic lounges in China can be scarce or oddly placed, so charge your phone to at least 70% at the T2 gate area before heading in, then treat any free outlet you find in the lounge as a bonus rather than a guarantee.
Practical tip: Build a 10–15 minute buffer before boarding and check your exact gate in T2 on the screens inside; CTU’s domestic gates can involve a decent walk, and you don’t want to wait for final call from a generic “First Class Lounge” desk announcement in rapid-fire Mandarin.
