Parking Lot C

Official long-term

1–2 minutes from the Domestic terminal, Parking Lot C is the airport’s main long-term option.

Parking Lot C is one of New Chitose Airport’s official long-term car parks, serving the Domestic terminal side of CTS. It sits in the main airport parking zone with direct vehicle access from the terminal approach road, and you walk from your car to the building in just a few minutes. This is post-highway but obviously pre-security, so you still handle airline check-in and security after leaving the car.

Rates follow the standard airport tariff for official CTS parking, with daily pricing structured for trips lasting several days rather than quick drop-offs. It typically works out better than short-stay areas once you pass the 24-hour mark. Payment runs through the airport’s automated machines at the exits; bring cash or a major card, as the system is the same across all official CTS lots.

Parking Lot C is set up for long-stay use, so expect standard uncovered spaces sized for regular passenger cars, not oversized vehicles. Being an official airport facility, it plugs into terminal signage and airport patrols, which is helpful if you land late on a 22:00 arrival and need to find your car quickly. If you’re parking for several days of Hokkaido travel, Lot C keeps you within easy walking distance of Domestic departures on your return.

There’s no documented pattern yet around “regulars” or specific complaints for Parking Lot C, but it follows the same operating approach and rules as the airport’s other official long-term lots. For early-morning flights before 08:00, build in an extra 10–15 minutes for snow clearing and slower walking in winter between the lot and the terminal.

Practical tip: snap a photo of your row number and the nearest Domestic terminal entrance marker when you park; it makes the walk back much faster after a long flight.
