Parking Lot B

Official short-term

100 meters from Domestic arrivals, this is CTS’s short-hop parking

Parking Lot B sits just off the Domestic terminal at New Chitose Airport, marked as an official short-term facility for quick drop-offs, pick-ups, and same‑day visits. You’re on the curb at Domestic in roughly 2–3 minutes on foot, so it works well for meeting arriving passengers or checking in for a short domestic hop.

This lot operates in sync with normal airport hours, staying open from roughly the first departures to the last arrivals on the Domestic side. It’s surface parking with clearly signed sections, so you can jot down your row number and find your car again even after a long day. Payment machines near the pedestrian exits accept standard Japanese cards and cash, typical of New Chitose’s official lots.

Rates run at the typical CTS short-term level, with charges calculated in tight time blocks so quick stops of under 60 minutes stay relatively low compared to leaving your car all day. This makes Parking Lot B better for runs under about 6–8 hours; longer than that and the multi‑day or long‑term options usually work out cheaper on a yen‑per‑hour basis.

If you’re connecting to the International terminal, factor in the inter‑terminal walk or shuttle time; Parking Lot B really favors Domestic use. Access uses the main airport approach road signed for “Domestic Parking,” then the turnoff for “B,” so watch the overhead boards as you approach at 40–50 km/h. One practical tip: snap a photo of your license plate and the nearest zone sign before heading to the terminal to speed up payment at the machine on your way out.
